Specialty Teas

These are teas that we consider to be specialty though they may fall into the other tea categories as well. From beautiful hand-sewn flowering teas to Jasmine Dragon Tears and Golden Pu-erh tea we are sure you will find one that you think is special too.

Jasmine Dragon Pearls Tea

This is a high quality very intense and fragrant tea. The leaves and the buds are hand rolled into small pearls that unfurl as they steep to show off their graceful leaves. Tranquility in a cup! Can be steeped multiple times. Ingredients: Premium Jasmine Dragon Pearls.  Steep for 2-3 min with water temp at 180 F.

Kokeicha Tea

This tea is made from crushed tea leaves that are compressed into tiny holes to form thin strings. Also called spagetti tea, it has a light liquour with nice nutty overtone. Ingredients: Japanese Kokeicha green tea. Steep 2-3 min with water temp at 180 F.

Golden Pu-erh Tea

This earthy pu-erh tea is aged for five years in a dark cave in Yunnan Provence. Pu-erh tea is good for reducing blood cholesterol, proper digestion, and weight loss. Ingredients: Pu-erh tea. Steep for 3-7 minutes, with water temp at boiling.

Volcano Flower Burst Tea

These flower bursts are hand tied and grown in Yunnan Province. This tea is very refreshing and cleansing with a hint of lemon. This tea is fabulous in a clear glass teapot! Ingredients: Green tea, amaranth blossoms, hibiscus, and lavender blossoms. Place one burst into teapot and let steep for 3-5 min with water temp at 180 F.
